Week beginning 3rd December 2018

Primrose has enjoyed writing her own version of the Jolly Christmas postman.

Aeryn really liked playing with her friends.

Thalia loved achieving a silver sticker for being really helpful and tidying up the classroom.

Henry S loved achieving a gold sticker for making his own shadow puppet theatre.

Arthur enjoyed achieving a gold sticker for his skills in maths – he worked out the number bonds to 20 and then taught his friends how to do it themselves!

Toby liked playing with his friends at lunch time – he enjoyed working in a team in class. He also loved having hot chocolate and biscuits at the reading café.

Evie enjoyed learning her number bonds to 10 and 20!

Dexter liked playing with Zach and Arthur in the playground – we enjoy playing sonic the hedgehog.

Stanley enjoyed playing football at play time.

Isabella enjoyed making a robin at the reading café.

Charlie loved making biscuit houses in Y2 and eating them at the reading cafe! Also he liked PE – in PE they were studying gymnastics and learning lots of different jumps.

Farrah loved having some warm hot chocolate at the reading café.

Hedgehogs Class Week beginning 26th November

Charlie has really enjoyed PE, where we had to climb on the apparatus.

Primrose liked gymnastics, carefully manoeuvring around the apparatus in the hall.

Henry E enjoyed learning about how to keep ourselves fit and healthy in Funtrition.

Evie liked completing her home learning tasks.

Lily-Rose enjoyed doing her writing to her mummy and daddy, inviting them to our reading café. She also enjoyed doing balance-ability – she was able to ride her bike without stabilisers and use the pedals.

Stanley liked playing with his friends at play time.

Thalia enjoyed doing maths this week – she liked showing off her skills!

Toby enjoyed going on the bikes in balance-ability.

Isabella enjoyed going on the bikes during balance-ability – she was able to ride her bike without stabilisers.

Lacie enjoyed going on the bikes – she didn’t need any help as she has been practicing at home!

Aeryn liked doing maths – she liked adding up.

Dexter enjoyed balance-ability and yoga!

Henry E enjoyed riding a bike during balance-ability – he was able to ride it without stabilisers.

Blake enjoyed playing a ball game outside.

Arthur could ride his bike without stabilisers.

Kaia really enjoyed riding a bike without stabilisers.

Elle enjoyed playing a ball game outside with her friends.

Madeline enjoyed learning how to ride a bike without stabilisers with Mrs Burt.

Hedgehog Class blog – week beginning 12th November 2018

Primrose enjoyed getting a gold sticker for writing a poem about nocturnal animals (snake, fox and a cat).

Lily-Rose enjoyed playing with her friends during play time and lunch time.

Elle liked dressing up as Pudsey for children in need on Thursday.

Charlie enjoyed taking part in the children in need treasure hunt outside. He also enjoyed playing football – he scored a hat-trick!

Toby enjoyed working as a team with everyone in the class – it’s a very big job!

Evie liked learning in maths and practicing her number bonds to ten.

Lacie enjoyed our maths lessons, when we were learning about 1 more, 1 less, 10 more and 10 less.

Stanley enjoyed playing football with his friends.

Henry Easthall enjoyed colouring in a Pudsey picture during challenge time. He also enjoyed doing sports club.

Blake liked writing the instructions for how to catch a troll.

Isabella enjoyed maths and writing.

Ella enjoyed making shadow puppet – her shadow puppet was a troll.

Henry enjoyed creating a troll – it only had one leg!

Blake liked creating nocturnal animals out of play dough. He also enjoyed doing guided reading and completing lots of challenges.

Harley liked playing with his friends – with everyone outside!

Peter enjoyed coming back to school after his operation!

Aeryn enjoyed Mrs Ash’s PE lesson, where we did ‘dish, straddle, arch and tuck’ in gymnastics.
