Hedgehog Blog 9th December 2016
We have been learning our songs, raps and dances for our Christmas play ‘The Nutcracker’. We have been rehearsing every day and now we are really good at it!
Today we have had a dress rehearsal and we all got to wear our costumes. It was really exciting!
On Tuesday we watched a puppet show called ‘Jack and the beans talk’. After the show the lady showed us all the different kinds of puppets there are and she explained what they were made of and how they worked.
Now we are working on our own puppet show. We have planned the story and are making the puppets, scenery and props. Then we are going to show each other our own puppet shows.
On Wednesday we made our Christmas craft to sell at the Christmas Fair today. We made Christmas Hedgehogs using a big pine cones, felt, ribbon and lots of glitter.
This week we have also done Christmas maths and Christmas colouring and we have made Christmas hats.
