- To recognise and then write sentences with different forms; statement, question, command and exclamation.
- To use coordinating conjunctions (or/and/but) and subordinating conjunctions (when/if/that/because) in sentences.
- To recognise, name and record fractions of shapes (1/3, 1/2, 2/4, 3/4).
- To find a fraction of a set of objects or a quantity.
- To be able to read the time to half past, quarter past, quarter to and begin to read 5 minute intervals.
- To solve time interval word problems.
- That the sun is a star and how important it is to us but also to recognise the dangers of the sun.
- To understand that computing programs require precise instructions.
- To create a piece of art in response to the work of a famous artist looking at how they have used colour, pattern and shape.
- To recognise how some materials can be changed by squashing, bending, twisting and stretching and how some cannot and then explain why this is.
- To understand the significance of key symbols in Christianity.
