Class 3 – Caterpillars 2015-16

Caterpillars Blog 18.12.15

Phew!!! We have made it to the end of the term, and what an exciting term it has been. We have covered two different topics – ‘Rainbow’ and ‘In the Attic’ and have learnt much along the way. There will be more exciting topics for the next two terms too.

Well done to everyone on the performances this week. A very big well done to those of you who learnt your speaking parts in only a week, and well done to everyone for learning the words and actions to our songs.

We have had a very exciting last day of term today. Everyone looked wonderful in their Christmas jumpers in Church and we have raised lots of money for Text Santa, Save the Children a.nd Macmillan. There was a very happy, festive feeling for our Church Service this morning and Mrs Burt says it was probably her favourite one ever! (Maybe because she got to sing Rockin’ Around The Christmas Tree again!) Christmas lunch was yummy, thank you to the kitchen staff, and thank you to Mr Philpott too for buying us all party poppers. We enjoyed playing some party games in the afternoon with the Crickets class and thought Mrs Chimes was very funny when she got competitive over a game of Charades.

We missed a visit from Father Christmas in the afternoon, although we thought we heard his bells on the roof. He dropped off 2 big bags of presents for us all and we can’t wait to play with our new town house and garage when we come back in the New Year.

We hope you all have a wonderful relaxing Christmas and a happy and healthy New Year. We look forward to seeing everyone again in 2016.
