Class 5 – Ladybirds 2014-15

Ladybird Class 19.6.15

This week we have been designing a leaflet about a Victorian seaside museum. In it we had to include facts we had learnt about the Victorians. In maths we have been solving problems using multiplication or repeated addition. We have read the story ‘One is a Snail and Ten is a Crab’, and then answered problems about this counting book.

On Wednesday we got to learn some more information about the Junior School when some Year 3 children visited. This gave us the opportunity to ask any questions about anything we were not sure about. On Thursday we had a visit from the Book Centre and we listened to a few stories. Ismay’s favourite was A PlaceTo Call Home because the hamsters thought they were at the end of the world, but they were not. We have also been practising for Sports Day. Mataya, Ferne, William, Joshua and Georgia all represented our school in Tri-Golf, along with the team from Butterfly Class. They won and now have to play in Norwich representing West Norfolk. A big Well Done!
