Class 6 – Butterflies 2014-15

Butterfly Class 28th November 2014

This week we have designed ‘Fire Putter Outers’, these were the first fire fighting equipment used in 1666 to put out the Great Fire of London. We made the chassis out of wood that we had to saw into the right sizes. We had a net to make a cuboid for the water tank to go on the top, we added wheels and ladders, ropes and buckets.

On Thursday we had a maths café where we made stars out of art straws and solved some maths problems. We have also read The Owl Who Was Afraid of the Dark and written a review.

We have had a very busy week.
