Class 2 – Bumble Bees 2014-15

Bumblebees Class Blog 06.11.14

This week Bumblebees and Dragonflies have been learning about Diwali, the festival of light. We have enjoyed lots of fun activities.

Oliver said ‘We have been doing special patterns outside.”

Emma said “We used chalks on the ground.”

Do you like the Rangoli pattern that Emma designed and drew?

Ikechi said “We made sweets. We had bananas and put them in chocolate and sprinkles.” We all enjoyed eating our sweets!

Grace said “ We had special patterns on our hands.” Thank you to Mrs Ash for all the Mendhi hand patterns.

Jack said “ We played funny games with the parachute. It was fun.”

We have also made diva lamps out of clay.

Imogen said “We have been dressing up as princesses and made crowns. We were being Sita and Rama”

A fun week in Bumblebees and we are looking forward to learning about fireworks next week and investigating light and dark.
